Melissa organised a surprise day’s touring in the Yarra Valley as a reward for her team at Flight Centre in Eltham and what a great call that was on her part – the group LOVED it.  Tour the Valley created a day’s tour to suit her timings and budget and put together a really good fun itinerary.

John collected them all from Eltham at 11am and took them straight to Greenstone Vineyard for a wine tasting on their gorgeous deck to enjoy their first stunning view of the day of the Yarra Valley.  Then it was time for some lunch and another tasting, so where better than one of the Yarra Valley’s newest cellar doors – Many Hands Winery – where lovely owner Tony made the group some sensational wood-fired pizzas and they enjoyed cheese, antipasto and of course their wine tasting (their Chardonnay is great if you go)!

After lunch John took them all to Meletos for a cider and beer tasting and they had great fun deciding which four they wanted on each tasting paddle and then sat outside and enjoyed them together.  The sun shone and they could have been holidaying in Tuscany with the beautiful old buildings behind them and the creeper growing up the walls.

John fitted in another wine tasting at St Hubert’s Winery (one of the oldest wineries in the Yarra Valley) and finished the day at Yering Station, (one of the valley’s best know wineries) for a tasting of their sensational wine before heading back to Eltham.

The group certainly loved their great reward day out and we loved sharing the valley with them – if you’d like to arrange a private Yarra Valley tour for your office and colleagues, perhaps to celebrate Christmas, or as a staff reward/thank youlet us know and we’ll put a quote together for you.
