24 colleagues from Pooh Bear’s House Early Learning Centre, in Croydon, booked a tour of the Yarra Valley for their Christmas work break up, and Joan worked closely with them to create an itinerary that matched their interests and budget.  And so on Saturday morning, John collected them all from Croydon for a fabulous tailor-made day’s touring, just for them.

They started their day out with a wine tasting at St Huberts cellar door and as the weather was so beautiful, they all sat outside under the elm tree to enjoy their wine tasting.

We then headed over to Greenstone Vineyard in Steels Creek just beyond Yarra Glen where they sat out on the deck and had a great wine tasting accompanied by some cheese platters.  The view at Greenstone is one of the best in the valley, looking out over their vines to the mountains and the Great Diving Range in the distance and they were treated to an even more special view than usual, as a group of cheerleaders performed some death defying gymnastics in front of the vines!

After Greenstone we drove over to Tokar Estate Winery where the group enjoyed a wine tasting where they got to choose which wine to enjoy with their lovely two-course lunch.

After a relaxing lunch we whisked them off to Helen & Joeys as we knew they’d love a ride on Bruce, the unicorn, and they had another al fresco wine tasting, this time with Stephen out on their deck.

As not everyone in the group are wine lovers, we added in a visit to the Chocolaterie so that those with a sweet tooth could indulge.  And they did. 🙂

We dropped them back to Croydon at 5pm after a fabulous day celebrating a great year together at work, with plenty of chatter and laughter throughout the day.

If you want to organise a social get together for work colleagues, get in touch with us at Tour the Valley and we can put together some suggestions for you.
