6 girlfriends from Northcote designed their own private winery tour with us at Tour the Valley to celebrate Fotini’s 30th birthday here in the Yarra Valley.

They worked out their itinerary with Joan in the weeks leading up to their tour and decided to make Four Pillars Gin Distillery their first stop!   It’s clearly never too early for gin, because despite the early hour, there was a great vibe already happening and they all enjoyed their gin tasting and loved the venue.

Lunch was a 2 hour affair at Zonzo’s where they tucked into beautiful pizzas washed down with a drop or two of wine.  One of Fontini’s friends had organised a stunning
birthday cake which was the perfect finish to their lunch.

John then drove them to St Huberts, one of the oldest wineries in the Yarra Valley where they loved the wines so much they bought some to take home for Father’s Day presents.  (I wonder if we should ring their Dads and see if they ever received the wine!!)?

Meletos was a must visit too so that the girls could try some Yarra Valley beer and cider and they did, sharing some tasting paddles.

Our final tasting was at the lovely Greenstone Winery in Yarra Glen where they decided to pull up a chair and finish their day with that stunning view and a glass of wine and a cheese platter to nibble on while sitting at the long table and chatting about their day in the Valley.

Not a bad way to spend your 30th really, surrounded by your girlfriends on a private wine tour of the Yarra Valley.  🙂
