American Uni Students Love their Tour of the Yarra Valley

John did a tour with 17 students from the University of Delaware, USA who wanted a half day tour of the Yarra Valley.  They were in Melbourne staying at Melbourne University College, studying Australian Literature.

John collected them at 12.15pm and they were very excited about visiting the Yarra Valley, as none of them had been here before.  The first winery was St Huberts vineyard, one of the valley's original vineyards, where they enjoyed all the wines on tasting.

He then took them to Helen & Joey Estate, a boutique winery where they enjoyed meeting Bruce the unicorn and they had a great wine tasting sitting outside on the deck - a great spot for photos of the great view and of course Bruce!

Then he drove them over to Greenstone Vineyard for their last wine tasting where they loved and devoured some cheese platters with their wine tasting again out on the deck and again loving the view.

The Chocolaterie was calling to them so John took them there for a chocolate tasting and they couldn’t resist indulging in some ice-cream.

On the way back to the city he stopped in at Farm Fresh in Coldstream where they loved all the varieties of fresh fruit on offer from the Yarra Valley which is famous for its variety of produce it grows and they purchased some to enjoy back at the College.

They had a great afternoon and really appreciated the variety of the places they got to visit in their half day Yarra Valley tour.
